Notes
Enock moved around the trading center near the main road to teach, evaluate, encourage, monitor, and reach the home that have been slow to change. Most of the people in this area have constructed good latrines, the former LC3 who had a house around this area had his latrine broken down 4 months back, Enock met some people at his home digging a new latrine. He wasn't home however Enock called him and told him he has to be a great example to the rest of the community members. Enock and the subcounty health inspector saw some two old and full latrines and the sub-county health inspector Abby gave them one week to construct new ones after signing an agreement with them. There are also some target homes which were visited to check on the progress of new latrines well constructed with good structures, kitchen areas, Rubbish pits and used, good dish racks. There are few cases of diseases reported from this area since most people have already constructed good facilities and using them. The use of ash was highly recommended to be used in latrines and reduce the bad smell, chase flies which move germs from one place to another. Since there was a funeral going on in this same village, Enock and the health inspector all had to attend the funeral shortly to give their condolences to the family of the deceased. The people were so happy when they saw them getting involved with them in times of sorrow. Enock encouraged them to improve on the sanitation of their homes.
