Village Notes
The government did give them a borehole although they are still requesting for another water source near the school for easy access for the pupils. The headmaster of Kivule primary school said that, the pupils move a long distance going to fetch water which interrupts their school program. They are therefore requesting for a water source near this area or at the school.

Notes
Introduction Lorna was in this village, to teach the community about HIV/AIDS myths and facts. This is done to get an idea whether the community has an idea on how this sickness is transmitted. To also learn what the community knows about this sickness. Overview Lorna reached this community when there were no people at the meeting place. She waited for about an hour before the members started to show up. Later on about 1 pm the meeting started. Lorna started by introducing herself again to the community and asked if everyone could also introduce themselves which they did. After everyone’s introduction, Lorna introduced the topic of the day which was, the introduction on the topic HIV/ AIDS .That is , transmission, prevention, care taken when positive among others. Lorna asked if anyone had an idea on how this sickness is transmitted and a one Irene said, through having unprotected sex with an infected person, through accidents. These answers were all correct and therefore Lorna built on these. She added other ways through which HIV/AIDS is transmitted which were, through breast milk, sharing sharp instruments with an infected person, through child birth other body fluids like vaginal fluids, rectal fluids, among others when in contact with an infected person. After the lesson members asked questions like; Is it true if one keeps taking a pain killer , when they go for an HIV test do they still find them positive? Lorna said yes. Another question was, is it possible to continue having sex with your infected partner ? .Lorna advised that they should use protection each time and also visit the health centre for more advise. She explained to them that also when the viral load is low and untraceable they can have sex but also there is a drug that is usually given to the uninfected partner in such scenarios but she asked them to use protection and seek further medical advise. Another member Robert stood up and thanked Lorna for this lesson and encouraged the community members to next time come in large numbers so as to learn this important information. Conclusion Lorna concluded by asking the members to keep time on the next lesson so as for them to benefit more from this lesson/ program. She thanked the members for coming and then left for Jinja.
