- Enock went to continue mobilizing this community to come for the upcoming general meeting of hand washing triggering session. As he was mobilizing the community members, he checking on the progress of latrine construction, dish rack construction, kitchen area, rubbish pits, clean compounds emphasizing on the maintenance of facilities that have already been constructed. As they continued walking around, they focused on using Ash in latrines to chase flies. They carried out a demonstration in one of the latrine to show the residents how Ash is so effective latrine. They saw how flies ran out of the latrine, it reduced the bad smell and every one was surprised. The women in the homes vowed to start using ash everyday, education their kids how important ash. There are some family which are constructing their new latrines, we saw 5 new pits that are dug. There are new rubbish pit that we saw, three new dish racks, smeared kitchen areas. I managed to meet all the leaders to team up and tell them the importance of the upcoming general meeting. The leaders appreciated all the great work, promised to continue talking to all their fellow residents to work towards improving their facilities and improve their lives by encouraging proper sanitation and hygiene.
