Notes
Martin went to ltuba Namalowe to check on the sanitation and hygiene improvement. He walked around that village with the Chairman LC1 and the sanitation committee members, in the lower section from the Chairman LC1 towards the primary school up-to the trading center. They were encouraging those homes who are still working on their sanitation facilities like latrine constructions, dish racks, kitchens and shower facilities. Generally the big number of homes in ltuba Namalowe have worked so hard on their sanitation facilities. And for those who have worked on their sanitation facilities, Martin and the group were encouraging them about the standards, maintenance, smearing and the use of ash to eliminate flies in their latrines. Mostly they were so encouraged to see that the sanitation committee members and the VHTS have worked so hard on their sanitation facilities like Sarah Nabirye she has constructed a strong latrine with bricks and cement and others. Because we were always telling the sanitation committee members and the VHTS, to be the example for the community members.
Addition to that rural electrification is taking place in that village.
