Notes
When Tom arrived in the village, he was joined by the vhts and together they moved in the section of the trading center before moving to the lower section. In the trading center they found three new pits for the latrines done only remaining to be constructed on. Three more are still being dug. They crossed over to the other side of the trading center where they found 5 new dish racks newly constructed and 4 rubbish pits. Even though this section of the village is not budumba, they share the trading center and therefore, they have been demanding that they also be visited to see what they have done. For the three pits already done, the men told Tom that they are waiting to harvest so they can construct better latrines with cement and concrete. On there way to the lower section, they found two young men who have joined together to dig and construct a new latrine. Tom thanked them and encouraged them to work hard and improve their homes. In the lower section they found mr James still digging the pit for the latrine while his brother peter is done and recently he cut a tree for the logs on his pit and he will be starting construction soon. Tom also encouraged some on the standard of the dish racks as some dish racks were not up to standard.
