Notes
Harriet had planned to members of Bulyowa A and monitor the progress of the Healthy and Safe kitchen program since she had taken a while with out visiting them. She found when some few members had gathered at the meeting place. She waited but the number was not increasing. This forced her to ask where other members were. They told her that there was a school meeting at the school where their children study from and for them as the group they decided to send a few parents and some stay to meet Kibo staff. When they were still discussing on that their children came back from school saying that the school administration want each parent at school before they issue report cards since it is the last day of second term. Harriet encouraged them to go to the school where their children study from for the meeting in order to discuss matters concerning their children to promote their children’s performance. She also told them that Kibo also values education so it is better for them to promote the rights of their children like education because children are the future generations. Members apologized before Kibo staff that they didn’t Know that the school meeting will interfere with their program. The meeting was adjourned until 31st of August 2018, it started raining immediately and Harriet had to leave since the road is very bad she feared to get stuck on the way.
