Ws Notes
David was in the village to meet with the water user committee members of bukudumira 1 to prepare them for the repair expected on Wednesday.David-was also there to make sure that they had all the money 250000shillings as a community contribution towards their borehole repair .David went there after the water user committee chairman had called Alex Walyomu on Saturday that the village had raised all the money that was asked by the Kibo staff towards their borehole repair. When David reached the village he found when the treasurer and the chairman of the borehole were waiting for him at the treasurer,s home .He called them , then later after wards the treasurer of the borehole went into his house and came out with the money they had contributed as their borehole contributions.David thanked the treasurer and the chairman of the borehole for the great work because moving home to home was not an easy task. There David encouraging them on behalf of the entire village to continue working together in all the aspects of development of the village . After all that David sent Frank the adviser on the committee for the other second borehole for Bukudumira 2 because previously the committee members had promised the Kibo staff that ,they will be having the full amount of the money 250000 shillings which was required as their borehole contributions. Unfortunately frank came back and told David and the other two committee members that, the other borehole didn’t have any money towards their borehole account. Therefore Frank on the side of the village he requested Kibo to give them A-grace period of time of about two weeks for them to contribute the money towards their borehole repair.David agreed their request and gave them a deadline date immediately after the two week,s session . On addition to that David left bukudumira village and headed to maliga village because there was still more time for him . He reached maliga trading centre and he started moving home to home in about 15 homes .Out of the 15homes David moved to the 9 homes had started working so that they could improve on their hygiene and sanitation standards. The challenge which David noted during his home to home movements was that the dish racks which were constructed were not meeting the good standards. Therefore mis Phidah and David so it as important to organizing for a general borehole and sanitation meeting in order to emphasize about good facility standardization of the facilities constructed. When phidah was moving with David he told him that they had contributed 220000 shillings towards their borehole account.David encouraged all the committee members to continuing encouraging the members to contribute before time.Because of the limited time factor David left the village and headed for jinja
