Notes
Enock walked around the community to continue teaching, assessing, encouraging, evaluating the residents to improve on the level of sanitation. They met some old people who didn't have a latrine before but when a new mosque was constructed, they built a deep Latrine, having 4 rooms and they gave her one to use. Enock managed to speak to some of the relatives to help her and construct a dish rack plus a kitchen. As they continued walking around, they saw some three new latrines, smeared kitchen areas, new rubbish pits. He encouraged the people to make proper paths to the rubbish pit so that they can be able to access the rubbish pits. Enock also demonstrated to some homes how to use ash in the latrine to chase flies and reduce the bad smell which attracts many flies from latrines to food. Enock also taught some five men that he met in their homes, the uses of dish racks and taught them the measurements and good designs of dish racks. He was so impressed when some homes had already constructed strong dish racks. There is also a home which had a latrine but it's almost full, they are constructing a new one already. Enock was impressed because they have learnt the benefits of having a latrine in the home. He urged the chairman and Vhts to always spare some time to walk around in the community to encourage the residents, to construct all the facilities in their homes.
