- Notes
- Tape and Sarah went to Buyange village, they did not find people at the meeting place. They decided to walk around the village to mobilize the community for the meeting.
They realized that there was a funeral in the village however few participants turned up for the meeting .
Kibo staff asked the group to postpone the meeting because of the funeral but the community decided to divide themselves into two groups.
Kibo staff stamped the dirt together with the community and built one demonstration stove. They did this while explaining the whole process.
When the stove was complete the community thanked Kibo for implementing the program into their village. The rest of the group also went to the funeral to participate in cooking food for the mourners.
Kibo staff encouraged them to stay working together if they are to effective in any development program.
