Notes
Alex together with 6 committee members visited Nabigalata trading center checking on all the facilities that are supposed to be in a home. They moved in 35 homes and this trading center alone has worked very hard more so on building new dish racks. Also many homes have dug new rubbish pits. The latrine coverage is so far very good with many of the homes having standard pit latrines. He also saw two new pits that were being worked on. He was making Sure that all the facilities meet the required standards that were set. Unfortunately it started raining very hard before they could finish visiting the whole trading center. However he reminded the committee to go on and keep encouraging every home to have all the facilities and not wait on Kibo coming to the village before they can act. He also reminded them to keep fundraising the money for the borehole repair and that needed for the borehole account. Kibo will only work on their borehole if everyone participates equally on what should be in their homes and in their community. One home that belongs to mr Mohammad is one of those homes that has worked very fast and very hard to have all the facilities needed in a home and he is one example to the rest. In general, the community is working as there many new facilities and smearing is being done in many homes of Nabigalata section. What remains very much needed in this part of the community is the need for clean water.
