Notes
Abraham met fifteen Nawaibete community members and most of them were committee members. The chairman told the meeting that they had a big problem few days back. There was some an known people who attached a lady and they wanted to kill her but she made alarming whereby people came for her rescue and the next day the police came with sniffer dogs who ended up to the former chairmans home. He was arrested with three other people to help the police to find out who was in the plan to kill the lady. The lady now she in Jinja main hospital for treatment. Abraham advised the meeting to start thinking about how they can make their village a better place for them and their children because if you look at what is happening now many are in prison and their children and wives are suffering, it is time to look for school fees because the term is soon starting. We do not when they will be free but let all pray for them that they may come back changed people. They moved around checking trees and all planted their trees, but only those in the upper part where there is still tension about politics. Abraham told the committee to mobilize those in upper section to see if they can agree to meet even if it will be another place but what they feel comfortable with so that they can share how they can work together again. They have a long distance to go because as some people are still in prison but those who are at the village they have to start thinking of ways of working together.
