- When Alex B arrived at Maliga upper,he found the members waiting for him at the usual meeting place.They had prayer together that was led by Naigaga Ida. They discussed how they would move together as a group and find out how trees were planted and how they can care for them. They started with Monic Isiko and it was noted that her trees were good though the material used for the hedge were weak.They advised her to put a better one that will protect her trees from being destroyed. The members walked in a group to check and learn together how to care for their trees. This was done and Alex asked each member to take notes as they moved from one members to another to see how the trees were doing. The mvule,musizi and giant lira trees are good since from the day the trees were planted, also rain season started . Some trees had water trees water lodging around them,and Alex advised them to fill back with the soil to avoid the lodging of the water. The members also noted some trees had weeds around them that could cause the animals to eat the trees as they look for the grass. It was was also noted that some put shades that can not allow the trees to get enough sunshine and with such were advised to remove them. They also noted some did not inform all the family members about where they planted the trees which may left b Responsibility to one person who planted those trees. Alex B advised them always to check up with their trees and know how they are doing.He also told them if there is need water them,they should do it .The members promised to correct the mistakes they did for trees to grow healthy. They were happy for concern of learning on the ground together.
