Notes
When Alex B arrived at Maliga upper,he found the members waiting for him at the usual meeting place. They had prayer together that was led by Fiida the chairperson. They discussed how they should care for their trees basing on what was found on the ground during the member to member visit. Mr.Isabirye George contributed by saying that all members should be responsible enough to implement what was learnt when they moved together. He also said for him,he discovered out that most members did not put strong hedges to protect the trees. He asked the members to keep the trees protected from anything that might destroy them There was a concern of watering the trees and all the meetings agreed to water them mostly in the evening as it may be required. They also said, trees should be weeded to avoid competing for nutrients with trees. The members also agreed to detect any disease or pests that might affect their trees to report to the leaders of the group to help and guide them how to overcome it.The trees should be considered as one of source of income in their homes, group and community. Alex B with members agreed that trees are living things so they need to be cared in order to grow well. They also said that trees need to be checked on always to know how they are doing. The family members should know where the trees are planted to easy the work of monitoring them.Watering the trees during dry season,he told them to observe it. He asked the members to report any problem that happens to trees to the leaders for help. The members promised to corporate in the group as they each care for the trees they received from kibo group.
