Ws Notes
David and Steven were in the village to assess the sanitation progress . This was after the Kibo staff had disconnected their borehole. The reason was that they had failed to take good care of their borehole as well as maintaining the good required hygiene and sanitation . The Kibo staff after one month they were called by the committee members to check if they were meeting the required set standards. The Kibo staff moved around the entire village to check if the entire village was meeting the required standards. After the Kibo,s movements home to home they assessed that every one was meeting the required hygiene standards.David and Steven encouraged the committee members to maintain the required hygiene and sanitation standards always. That is by always encouraging everyone to improve on his or her sanitation standards.
On addition to that David and Steven asked mr kadhulungu the treasurer of the borehole how much money was on their borehole account. He said that they Had 170000shillings as their as their borehole account balance.David and Steven advised them to continue always contributing towards their borehole account. Also they were encouraged to take the full care ,responsibility and ownership of their borehole. Therefore the Kibo staff will be planning to have a village general meeting .That meeting will be aimed at emphasizing the good sanitation as well as full ownership of their borehole. After that the Kibo staff hopes ,to reconnect for the village the borehole.
