Notes
David and Steven were in the village to monitor and assess the sanitation improvements .When David and Steven reached the village, they were a companied by the chairman of the village mr Kamya Charles to move in the different homes. They first moved in the chairman,s home before heading out to the Baki Lima zone which was in the central part of the village. In the chairman,s home ,they found when the rubbish pit and the dish rack were finished being constructed. The Kibo staff moved to kalembe Joyce,s home they found when her latrine construction process was a half and the bricks for the construction were seen in place. She had also smeared her kitchen. They encouraged her to also improve on her shower area. From there they continued to mr John matege,s home the traditional doctor. David and Steven found the young ones of the traditional doctor when they were busy with the digging of their rubbish pit.Since it was the only facility missing in that home. From there they moved to Rose swaga,s home for-him he had finished the construction of his new latrine pit. The Kibo staff encouraged him to work hard before they would meet the set deadline. In general out of the 80 homes the Kibo staff moved to they assessed that all the home were working and there was no any case of open defecation . The other concerned they noted in all the homes around the entire village was that the dish racks were not meeting the required standards .Because of the small construction materials they were using to construct them.
