- Bible Lesson 2: Jesus Lord of everything
- Notes
- Ida went to Bupeni and taught about a Bible lesson “Jesus Lord of everything “
She used a story of Jesus calming the storm.
Ida asked the community what storms do they go through and listed these below
Domestic violence, poverty, fornication, sickness, famine, drunkenness, gambling, theft polygamy etc.
One woman stood and reported that men make them work like donkeys but in end they are not appreciated.
The men too said that women are dirty with their children that’s why they leave them and go with other women, the women also responded that men left their responsibility and abandoned their homes.
The women thanked Kibo for such good lessons that will help both men and women live a good life in marriage.
Ida encouraged the community to put their trust in Jesus alone because He is the only one who can calm the storm they are going through.
The discussion was good because both parties were participating and if there was a question raised, the community handled it well.
Men asked Kibo to keep sending Ida because they have learned many new things in just few weeks.
It was fun seeing the community debate on matters that will bring harmony in their homes.
