Enock, Martin walked around this community to continue checking on the progress of sanitation improvements . They divided up to at least cover a big portion of the community. Martin visited the trading centre where he was encouraging standardization of latrines, shower areas, dish racks, kitchen area, rubbish pit usage and proper use of ash in latrine to chase flies. He also checked on the on homes which are still constructing dish racks to give them some ideas how to construct good structures. He saw 8 new dish racks, two new latrines and one new latrine hole still under construction. Enock walked in the upper section where he started from the LC1s home who has just completed his new dish rack and rubbish pit. He reminded them to be exemplary to the rest of the community members. He then walked to the VHTs homes who have completed constructing their latrines, shower areas, good dish racks which are standard, he encouraged them to also teach the fellow residents to construct similar dish racks and to use them effectively. They continued to walk around in target homes which had promised to complete their latrines in two weeks to know how they are progressing. Two of the residents have finished constructing their new latrine, new dish racks. There are few people remaining to complete their latrine and theses one have pits dug but they haven’t constructed on them. We went to a meeting with the residents to find out why they haven’t completed it. They want to use bricks and cement to construct the latrine but they want to sell some harvesting then they construct them. Most of the people in this community have constructed good facilities although some stay in mad houses. They have used brick and cement on most of their facilities say latrines and shower areas.
