constitution writing
Notes
The committee responsible for drafting the constitution for the group read through the document to the member for the first time. Alex B was present to listen to the reading.
The proposed name of the group is (BALITWEGOMBA MIVULE TREE PLATING GROUP).The members were good with name and approved it. A number of articles were read since the work was typed and the members thanked the committee for the document. They went line by line to ensure that their mind is properly reflected in the document. They looked at how the started coming together like the history of the group. They managed to go through few articles because it was written in English and yet another was to translate in the local language. They read the whole document to the members and there was little time to discuss it.
Alex B asked the members to participate fully during the making of the constitution writing. He said every body is free to contribute ideas as they go through document. He also asked the committee to translate very well to the members and be understood to those that do not get English. They were told that at the end every one will be required to sign to prove as she or he agree with what is in the document. The members when they will sign it, it will be considered as constitution to their group. It was past three o’clock and Alex B had to leave for Jinja
