Bible Lesson 2: Jesus Lord of everything
Notes
Ida went to Ikumbya and taught about Jesus Lord of every thing. She used a story of Jesus calming the storm. The disciples were together with Jesus in the boat but didn't know actually who he was. When the storm worsened, they started trembling and called out Jesus to wake up because he was sleeping. Ida asked What storms do they face in their daily lives in Ikumbya? They listed :poverty, drug abuse ,famine, worshipping idols, adultery, disposing leaders ,selfishness etc When Jesus Christ woke up, He commanded the storm to stop and immediately it stopped!. Ida told them that, the problems we are facing Jesus is together with us just as he was with the disciples. He is the only person who can calm the storms we are going through. Ida encouraged the people to Let put their trust in Jesus who can give orders to nature and it responds immediately. The roads to Ikumbya are bad when it started raining,we had to leave for Jinja.
