- Notes
- Abraham met thirty one Bukoma C community members at the trading center and they were taught how to plant Mvule trees, they did a demonstration in one of the home member called Fred. Some members had not even seen the seeds of a Mvule. They were wondering because they used to hear the slogan of Basoga saying Jamere Jane which means they grew by themselves. They said it was great because they are changing that slogan to Tejamere Jane which is they do not grow by themselves but we plant them, care for them and see them growing big.
They received two hundred Mvule seedlings and one hundred Musizi seedlings, they were told to go and teach those who were not present the way how they have to plant the trees. Abraham encouraged them to plant the trees and help their friends to plant in good locations not near the boundaries because in future these trees will be big and their children which fight about the ownership of the tree. The members said they are willing to share ideas to make sure the trees are alive, they said they have two people who will be checking those trees to make sure they were planted well.
The chairman had told Abraham on the away that one of the community member lost a child. They proceeded to the funeral place and paid condolence to the family and Abraham started the journey back to Jinja because it was getting late.
