- Ida went to Bupeni and taught about God’s love. She asked what the community understood by the term “love”
Lusiya said that love means sex, Otuke said that it is the opposite of hate. And Nangobi said that it’s the command that Jesus left for the people love one another.
She then told a story of the lost son from the book of Luke 15:11-32.
One woman said that her husband had some problems with their son ,in the end the father chased his son from the home. Who is supposed to ask for forgiveness?
Ida asked what the community thought and they all said that the son must ask for forgiveness, Sowedi asked what if the father isn’t ready to forgive?
Ida asked the community if fathers make mistakes, they said that they do but never admit.
What do you think should be done according to the passage?
Shula said that when anyone comes back to his/her senses, they must stand up and start walking going to their father to ask for pardon. The father is waiting for whoever looks for him however much they stink, he doesn’t care but ready to hug them.
