Notes
Alex was in Ituba Namalowe to follow up on target homes that were still working on improving their sanitation facilities in the homes. Alex, health committee chairman, LC 1 visited a total of 15 homes. Mutoto was still digging his new pit and was encouraged to complete a 20ft pit and promised to complete in a week. Sinani finally completed his pit Latrine structure after a long struggle getting him to work while Kusaini was found building on his pit latrine structure and was half way done. Mainogovu, an old man is also digging his new pit latrine but completed the rest of the facilities in his home. The vht chairman mr Mayor and the LC 1 appreciate Kibo group for helping their village reach this level in that some people in the village had never owned a pit latrine in their homes in their life but now have got one and something that they are proud to have now. The village was extremely badly off in the beginning when Kibo Joined. In general many of the homes that had been very hard to get to work and improve the sanitation in their homes have greatly improved and only very few are left to complete. A third evaluation is expected to be conducted soon and determine the sanitation status of the village. This data after analyzing it will also determine if the village is ready for the next step of a new borehole drilling. A third evaluation is expected to be carried out on Friday 9/11/2018.
