- Notes
- Harriet found the chairman LC1 busy handling a land conflict case . She waited for him to finish ,introduce to him the stove program and arrange for the first meeting with the community. The case took long that forced the Chairman to delicate the Chairperson for women's affairs to attend to Harriet. Harriet told her the goals and objectives of the stove program and KIbo intends to implement the program in their village. She was very excited and asked Harriet to build one for her on that very day. Harriet told her that the goal of the program is to empower the community with a skill of building their own stoves so that they can sustain it as well as scale out to the neighboring communities. Also the program takes a number of theoretical lessons before practical lesson.Harriet left her with an assignment to discuss with the chairman the most convenient date for their community so that she can start teaching them. They will discuss and then inform Harriet.
