Notes
Alex B,Nate Barton and Susan Kedi were received by the vice chairperson of the group Mr,George Isiko. They checked some members to see how their trees are doing and also to advise them how to care for them as they grow. The members were asked to prune their trees and also to those with old cages to replace them. The good thing is that the trees were not yet affected by pests. Kibo staff asked them to observe them, when they see some spots on the leaves or the color of the leaves turning from green to yellow to inform their leaders. Alex B told members responsible and weeds the trees that had weeds around them . Nate Barton was taking pictures because it was his first time to visit Maliga for mvule community development program.Susan Kedi was also her first time with in that community for mvule community development program. Susan Kedi also entered some kitchens to look at the stoves to see whether the ladies were using them. The community had received rain that last night and some of the community members were busy in the gardens harvesting their groundnuts thus unable to come to the meeting. They later proceeded to the meeting place, had an opening prayer together that was led by one of the members of the group. There secretary Mr.George Isiko gave a report about the assignment of producing more copies of their constitution. He was ready with three of them and the members were happy. Alex B introduced Nate Barton and Susan Kadi to members as also workers of Kibo Group.Nate Barton told them that main job with kibo is to communicate through pictures.Susan Kedi told them that she was a new staff who had just joined kibo in the department of Healthy and Safe Kitchen program. Alex B also asked the members to sign those copies with their contact address because it will prove that each member be considered as a member and that he can benefit from all the programs of the group. He told them as the next meeting they will discuss more about how to keep records of the group.since it was already departure time for them, they left for Jinja.
