When Alex B arrived at Bulyowa he found the members started the meeting.He joined their meeting.
Mr.S.Jogolo a-member and yet is the one incharge of the garden project for groundnuts was talking about their garden.He told them as it ready for harvest though it needs rain to soften the land so that they can uproot them. He asked them to be ready when it rains they will go and harvest them.
They also contribute money and give to a member when he or she has lost one of the family member. The contribution helps to meet part of the expenses towards the burial arrangement.
The vice chairperson of the group Margaret Kisira who is acting as chairperson,in her remarks thanked kibo for for all the programs. The programs has empowered them with wealthy and knowledge. The group has more than acre of groundnuts which is ready. They have money that is with members as loan from the saving they make.
They bought each a chicken and after to take back sh.5000 in the pool as interest.She also reported that they started with 45 members and now they are 64 after the chairperson Martin Kiyuba died.
Alex B thanked the members for standing together when they lost their chairperson for group Martin Kiyuba. He told them as kibo group felt it bad after receiving such bad news of death. He encouraged them to remain united in the group and work together to the point of doing more projects. He asked the leaders of the group to see that they are creative and developmental.To the rest of the members,he told them to embrace love,unity peace among themselves. He asked them to mostly base on their constitution they have for guidance. The leaders were also reminded to renew their registration when it expires. He also reminded the leaders to keep good records of the money for the group and also to make a work plan.
The members promised to attend meetings and discuss issues that will help them to develop.They say being people in the village mostly they need knowledge about farming and how to improve it.They were happy for Alex B to visit them and the wisdom he gave them.
