Notes
Harriet found some participants waiting at one of the homes where a demonstration was to be carried out.she removed banana stems from the first stove as she explained the whole process while members watched. She asked them to try to remove banana stems from the second stove to assess whether they have learnt. Women shied away but three men came up and tried. They were not perfect but scored at 80% because they only failed on shaping the holes . Harriet corrected their mistakes and encouraged them to keep on trying because practice makes perfect.
