- When Alex B arrived at Bulyowa B,he found the members waiting for him at the usual place.They had prayer together that was Mpata one of the members of the group.
Margaret Mukunya the chairperson thanked the members for the unity and hard working for their families and the group.She told them as their registration is expiring soon and they need to renew it.
She said that the CDO of Ivukula sub county promised the group money in form of a loan. The CDO is expected to meet the members and discuss with them about the amount of money to be given to them .
Alex B told the members to find out the terms and conditions about the loan that was promised to them.He also asked them to come up with a project that they want to do with the loan.He advise them the business or the project they want to do should not be of much money since it is their first time.Also to note as there different types of loans.There is agriculture or business, and yet both of them are different in terms of paying back the loan.He told them as agriculture loan is mostly paid after the harvest and yet the business is paid mostly in bits either weekly or monthly.
He told the members for the case of individuals loans and yet is through the group to take precaution. He also advised the group that if one is to get individual loan,he or she should be recommended by members within the group.
He told them not hurry to get the money when they are not ready what do with it ,but to be close cure to the intension of reason. He asked them if the loan is for the group ,then all the members should responsible,know the amount of the money and how they will service or pay back the loan.He promised the members to call the CDO of their sub county about the loan.He will find out from him also the terms and conditions about the loan.Alex B will discuss with him so that the members will benefit as individuals and the group.
Besides talking about the loan,the members are busy in preparation for Christmas days.They saved money as a group of which they are going to get as Christmas package each.
The members were thankful for the advise and promised not hurry for the loan.They will meet and discuss more about how to go about it .Alex B wished them a merry Christmas and prosperous new year 2019
