- When Alex B arrived at Bukudumira,he found the members waiting for him at the usual meeting place.They had a prayer together that was led by Swaibu Kigoolo one of the members.They discussed about the registration of their group and what should be done as a group the registration.
The chairperson of the group Margaret Waiswa told the members as payment for the certificate was done. She told the members as she received information from the CDO of Nsize sub county that the certificate is ready. The certificate and constitution will help the group to open a bank account. She also told the members to think of the next program since the registration is done.
Mrs.Fatuma Nakyanda suggested that the group need to open a bank account.She added that the leaders should find out a bank with law charges,good customer care and possibly not far from them that will require a lot money for transport. One of the members suggested to note the projects they are going to do next year and then select out what to begin with as the year starts 2019. The members preferred to do agriculture but to start with crops that do not take long to be harvested.The noted like peas,bean and groundnuts.
Alex B thanked the members for unity,love and hard working for the group to level of registration.He advised the members on the issue of bank account the leaders to consult the CDO for help. All the members should jbe updated any step reached during the process of opening bank account.The members should decide the signatories on that account as per their constitution.
He told the members since they are planning to do agriculture as a group,to plan how they are going to do it. The planting season will be next year 2019.He advised to come up with a crop they will plant.They need to come up with a project where they will invest in little but get high profit.The project that will involve all the members in one way and that unites them as members. They were also told to plan how to get land,seeds,drugs for spraying and labour in terms of money.
The members were grateful for the registration with the government and promised to work together to develop themselves and the group.Alex B wished a merry Christmas and a prosperous new year 2019.
