- Harriet made a surprise visit to kiteigalwa village and this was intended to see whether a few people who got stoves before she posed working in this village were using them on daily basis. Also it was intended to find out whether other people who missed a chance of getting stoves were interested.
She walking home to home inspecting the stoves all the few people who got stoves were using them on daily basis. They also told her the stoves helped them to save firewood cook food first, eliminate smoke as well as fire accidents.
One of the old women “ kamida” said that she no longer worries that her grand children will easily get burnt when ever left home by themselves because the stove had created a safe cooking environment to family.
Also other people who did not get a chance of getting stoves asked Kibo also to go and help them to get stoves because they also want to leave a better life.
Harriet told them to mobilize each other for the first lesson on 17/ dec/ 2018 so that they plan together how to resume lessons in January 2018. The members who she met promised to mobilize others for the program. They also thanked Kibo for love to their community.
