Notes
Tom made a visit to kalitumba village to check on improvements in facility construction as well as improvements in sanitation and hygiene. When he reached in the village, he found when there was a funeral in the nearby trading center. Most of the committee members were getting ready to go to the funeral while many residents had already left. Tom together with three committee members moved only in a few homes that still had latrines to finish. They visited several homes and found three new latrines being constructed while three had been finished to be roofed. They also moved into one home of an elderly woman whom they found very happy and excited for her new latrine. She happily invited the, to her home to show them her new latrine. She also asked to be taken a picture next to her new latrine. After this residents home, The committee members asked Tom to let them leave for the burial and Tom as well left for jinja. But the good thing was that several or most of the homes that got the iron sheet now have latrines roofed and every body is happy for there new latrine.
