- Ida and Irene went to Bupeni
First to introduce Irene Ngobi the new Kibo employee and teach about the “Tongue “
Ida will be teaching the whole of January as Irene looks and learns and prepare her self to start teaching in February.
Ida and Irene reached and waited for people who were not coming. So they started walking in homes where they found community members pealing cassava and sweet potatoes for drying. The majority are now doing this to prepare for the drought that is expected in February to mid May. Next planting is expected in mid March and will harvest in June. It was hard to teach when the members were busy in their homes. Irene suggested that they continue going to peoples homes as they check on their facilities. Ida and Irene reached an old woman’s home who is said to be a witch, she had a stove but uses it as a cupboard. Irene asked the reason as to why she doesn’t use the stove, she said that she uses it on Christmas Day. Ida advised the old woman to start using before the stoves technicians come to dismantle it.
As Irene and Ida were walking, they mobilized people to come to the next meeting on Monday.
