Enock and Martin, visited Bukudumila village to meet with the local leaders, walk around in some homes to check on the progress of latrine construction, dish racks, kitchen area, shower area, clean compounds, smeared facilities, rubbish pits and other facilities. During the meeting with the local leaders, Enock encouraged the local leaders to take the lead in their community, monitor, encourage their fellow residents on the values of good sanitation. After the meeting, we walked around home which had constructed new hand washing facilities, checked on the sanitation of the latrines, encouraged the families on the Benefits of using Ash in latrines. There are also some home which have greatly improved with good standard facilities, constructed with bricks, cement and sand. There are also some people who have greatly learnt the benefits and core values of hand washing by constructing good hand washing stations and using them. As we continued walking around, we visited one of the widows called Nabirye who smeared all the facilities and her home is out standing. She has the best home in this whole village. As we continued walking around, we continued teaching the residents about the values of sanitation and hygiene, monitoring, sensitizing and motivating the residents and communicating to every community members on the issues regarding to construct proper and standard structures hence sustainability. Our target is about the community members in the upper section who were behind in the program, To bring them up to speed with the program.

There are some new latrines which where constructed during the Christmas break, other people took the initiative to smear their facilities so that they look great.
