Harriet found a few participants waiting at the meeting place. She was welcomed by the Chairperson with full of joy welcomed her to his village. He immediately started mobilizing the community to come for the meeting. After a few minutes other people also turned up for the meeting. The meeting begun with an opening prayer that was led by Kagoya Mawazi. Harriet welcomed every one for the meeting , congratulated them upon completing the previous year and encouraged them to work together as a team to achieve their set targets for 2019. She asked the the community to identify the members who got stoves before Kibo paused going to their village. Members rose their hands up but the numbers was too small compared to those who missed out the opportunity. Harriet requested them to tell the rest of the group the materials used to build stoves . This was intended for her to know whether the participants still recall so that she builds on that. Unfortunately they had totally forgotten almost every thing. Harriet told the participants that the stoves are built out of grass, banana stems that are used to create different holes on the stove, termite dirt that is mixed with grass and water, two old source pans to create space where the pots will sit during cooking,a basin for measurement, a hoe for digging the dirt from the anti hill, a panga for cutting grass and banana stems. She then asked them whether those materials can freely be found in their village or requires money. The community confirmed to Harriet that all those materials are freely found in their village. Also Kamida one of the members who initially got a stove asked the group to chose a day and she takes them to search for the grass. She volunteered to lead the team in the process of grass searching because she wants every one to get the same benefit as she she did. She also reminded them that the program requires commitment because it’s hard work that requires to work together as a team. The chairperson LC1 thanked Kibo for loving their village and resuming the program in their village because most people had lost hope( especially those one who did not get stoves thought their will never get the opportunity) He asked the rest of the members to remain behind and decide on the day to search for grass. The meeting ended with a closing prayer that was led by Ngobi Laban.
