Introduction
Manuela left Jinja town went to Kivule village to teach community members about positive living and behavior changes which means good practice that an HIV positive person should do in order to live longer without Progressing to a AIDs stage. For example eating well, having enough rest, taking medication in times and among others.
Manuela"s main emphasis was to start from where Lorna stopped then she can introduce a new topic. While on the way Manuela was thinking how her day was going to be and which teaching members she can use so that they can understand well.
Overview
when Manuela reached the village she found only six people seated at the meeting place, they gave her a worm well come, having seen that there where only six people seated waiting for her, Manuela requested the six people to move around and mobilize others too to come for the lessons, unfortunately, most of the community members hard gone for burial in the nearby village, Manuela and the other community members moved around the village and managed to mobilize other community members which was good.
After mobilization, Manuela and the team that helped her in mobilizing people came back to the meeting point, Manuela started her class with an opening prayer which was led by un up coming pastor in that village, after that Manuela asked the community members to remind her where they had stopped with Lorna, it was so good that some people managed to remember and they were able to explain what Lorna taught them. After review of the previous lessons, Manuela taught about positive living and behavior change. Unfortunately She taught 20 people, four men,16 women including some adolescents girls because majority of the community members went for burial.
During lessons Manuela spent most of the time asking community members questions which made the class so interactive, it was people’s centered and they liked the teaching method. Finally , Manuela gave community members an assignments on mother to child transmission she told them to search about it because she intend to teach that next week.
