Notes
Abraham met thirty one Kivule community members and the chairman Mr Christopher thanked the members for turning up for the meeting. He said that the secretary finished drafting their constitution and he is remaining to take it for printing and they need money for print it. The secretary brought a copy of a drafted constitution, he said that to print each paper is one thousand shillings and the constitution is having sixteen papers. Abraham thanked the members for the great work they are doing and he advised them to have three copies of their constitution because one has to be at the sub county and another remains at the district. He told them that this will help them to open up a group account from the bank and their money will be safe. The secretary said that they want to take the drafted constitution to the CDO for more advise and all members supported it. The members decided that each member will pay two thousand shillings to cover the cost of printing their constitution and photocopying of two more. They said that the treasurer will be reminding them and they decided that they are going to have another meeting before they meet with Kibo staff. They started a church in their area with forty members and now they are collecting money to build their church building and they have collected three hundred thousand so far but they need seven hundred thousand more because the own of the land wants one million shillings.
