Notes
When Alex B arrived at Bukudumira,he found members waiting for him at their usual meeting place. They had an opening prayer that was led by one of the members of the group.
The chairperson Margaret Waiswa gave her welcome remarks and She informed the members that some of the members lost their relative and went for burial. She mentioned some relatives to the diseased like Swaibu Kigoolo and Hassan Kaveri . Most members in the group are related to one another. The group secured a registration certificate from Nsize sub county, but not yet from the District office.
The members met and discussed what to do and came up with a number of projects. They felt they could do poultry, keeping animals and Agriculture. They talked of growing crops like peas, groundnuts and rice. The members did not come up with proper alternatives about those projects.
Alex B thanked the members for registering their group with the government. He talked them how it is important for them to open a bank account. He said it will help them to keep their finances safe and also the treasurer will not be at a risk to stay with money for long in his or her house. He told them before the money is withdrawn, the members have to meet and decide how much is needed and for what purpose.
He also thanked them for all the alternatives about the projects they suggested to do. The idea to them was to come up with a project that will involve everyone to participate .They were advised to bare in mind what can be done in their community that earns money to the group or to individuals.
Besides having discussion with the members,Alex B checked up with them to see how the mvule trees were doing. He found that some cadge that was put around them for protection are old and falling off and even being eaten by termites. He checked with few members and promised to discuss with them how to come up with a better way to protect the trees.
The members suggested since most of the community depends on agriculture. There is a need to discuss the crop they can grow on small land and yet it can earn the group more money. They are to look for land and how much money will be required to hire the land. The issue of labour and their presence is vital to help them to get good harvest.

2019-02-06 - Purpose: To discuss with members how they can care for the trees during dry season like watering and avoid animals to destroy the trees that was given to them by kibo group. This is because some people may have cages around the trees made of cassava and yet when the animals eat the cassava they may end up eating the mvule trees.
