Notes
They had prayer together that was led by the chairperson of the group. He after said as members met and discussed how to do a project of farming. They suggested to hire land but had not come up how to get the money since during that meeting all did not turn up.The issue of opening bank account was still not yet done as they were compelling document needed from them by the bank. The aspect of money for the process was not yet enough and the members were still contributing. Alex B advised the members to use the resources they have at hand to start with for the project they can do as a group. This was reached on when Alex B realized that the members were thinking of bigger projects which they can not facilitate. He asked to come up with one that will need less money and less time. They suggested to grow maize, cassava and soybeans. They were guided to grow one type crop out of the three and agreed on soybeans. The issue was then how to get the land and the seeds mostly since they offered to provide local labour. Mr.Living Wabwose one of the members gave the group slightly more an acre of land for farming free of charge for them to plant soybeans for the group. The members thanked him for the offer of the land to use it The members agreed to clear the area and also contribute money for the seeds. Alex B asked them to prepare the land before the rain season starts. It will help them to plant in time and also get a good harvest. The members were advised to embrace love and unity during the time when working in the garden. He told them as it was a good start for bigger projects in the group.
