Notes
Abraham met eighteen Bukoma A community members and they moved around to see the bore hole and trees which are still surviving. They found many trees dead but the one which was planted at the bore hole was still alive. The chairman of the village LC1 Mr Mukose told the group that one of the community member hugged him on a mango tree and he died because of Bank loan. He said that they started working on their constitution but they need to get a copy of a constitution so that they can see a formate, he said that they want to start a saving scheme so as to get soft loans within the group. Some members suggest that they are going to get a copy of the constitution to help them work on their own so they will do it before having a general meeting. Abraham advised them not to copy and pest because this is different village from the one which made the constitution, he told the chairman to get the number of trees alive so that in the season they can get the replacement and when they get the replacement they will be planting more trees on their own. The fence on the bore hole is good now but only they are not cleaning it well and the chairman made those who were on the bore hole to clean it. Abraham encouraged them to write their constitution because it will help them to open up a group account which will help them to keep their money they collect for bore hole repair.
