Notes
Abraham met the committee and some members who were given some task to do, like buying some staff for their chicken project. They started with a word of prayers from Nabirye and she told the members that they have come up with breakdown of the money Kibo gave them to buy goats and they changed to have poultry. They built a chicken coop of about twenty three ion sheets, bought chicken feeds, a canvass for mixing chicken feeds, a water container which will help them to store water for the chickens, bought solar panel for the lighting and they have already booked chicks from UGACHICK and waiting to receive them. They will give two chickens to each member and the rest will be looked after in the chicken coop. They made a breakdown of four million and fifty thousand shillings and these are two hundred and forty layers. They had the next budget for broiler but the budget was too big compared to the remaining money. The chairperson Mss Nabirye told the meeting that many people have lost their animals because of the long drought and if they had bought goats to the members by now they would have lost many. Abraham thanked the committee and those who were given some task to do because it is always good to work together to improve on their way of living. He advised them not to go ahead with their next program of building a chicken coop for broiler because their budget was too big and they need to call a meeting so that they can discuss how they will do it. It is good idea because they are going to get all the market because if someone comes looking for eggs they will selling to them and if he comes looking for chicken they will have them. They are going to meet and discuss about it so that Abraham will join them in the final meeting.
