- David and Steven were in the village . Their intentions of going there was to meet with the water user committee and remind them of their roles and responsibilities towards their borehole. While David and Steven were in the village they were an-able able to have the meeting. The reason was that all the village residents along with the water user committee members were organizing themselves to go and attend the burial in kamuli district for the uncle of miliya who is one of the member on the borehole committee.
Therefore David and Steven along with one v h t Byakatonda Godfrey they decided to move in about 40 homes . Among the forty homes the Kibo staff and the v h t visited, they were able to note that the members had maintained the required sanitation standards. However for the few which David came across he advised them to maintain the required standards.
After that all the Kibo staff along with the v h t had visited the borehole. They were happy because the members had maintained the good status of the borehole. They saw some clean jerrycans which were at the borehole. Which indicated that there was a chain of safe water from the borehole up to the different peoples homes.
They left the village with an assignment. That were supposed to have a general borehole meeting as away of reviving the committee’s roles and responsibilities. Because the committee seemed to have issues with their borehole bylaws and contributions .Currently their borehole account had 320000 shillings as their borehole account balance.
In general the hygiene and sanitation status of the village the entire village was good except for some few homes which were told to work and improve on their standards of their sanitation facilities.
