- Alex B and the members discussed how to care for the trees they planted.It was noted as it had taken long time without rain and the trees were dying. This issue was reported in the previous meeting that some trees had started dying and they did not know what to do about it. So Alex decided to work with the group and solve the problem jointly. It was agreed in the meeting to walk to some of the members to check on the condition of the trees and so that they lay strategies how to care for them. They decided to begin with Margret Waiswa the chairperson of the group . They found out that the tree like mvule that was planted from kibo group by her was not doing good because of much sunshine and then flowed by other members who had the same problem. Alex B advised the members to dig around the trees and make space for watering the trees as well as conserve water for the trees when ever it rains. He also told them not water them when the sun is high like midday except in the morning and evening when the sun is not yet out or when it has set. He told them to remind one another about caring for the trees like watering,protecting them from being destroyed,if there is any infection on the trees like unique spots on the leaves.He also told them not fully leave the responsibility to children only but to work together as family to see that they taken care of by all of them. The members were very great full for AlexB advice and promised to implement the idea to save their trees.
