Notes
Abraham met thirty one Kishaike community members and they had a short discussion about registering the group at the sub county. The chairman told the meeting that they collected ninety thousand shillings and they used forty thousand for bidding, printing the constitution and they went to the sub county to register the group but the CDO told them to get one hundred thousand shilling for them to register the group. They came back because they were having fifty thousand shillings and the members decided that each member should again contribute one thousand shillings but also there was those who defaulted and some started bringing the money.
They moved with some members doing evaluation and members are doing well keeping the trees alive. They did not cover up all thirty two members because some were not around and they managed to cover twenty seven members. In the meeting, in the chairman's speech, he said that there are some people who are saying that they are planting trees but those trees are for the government which he said is wrong for people to continue thinking that way Abraham disproved this and told them the trees are theirs and no one will be taking them; not Kibo not the government. Everything they do is to make Kishaike a better place to live in. They hope to get the money for registration before Christmas and if possible they may go and register the group.
