- Ida is planning to phase out from Kitukiro and will take Mvule program next. Ida always begins with reviewing the previous lessons to ensure that the lessons were understood. During the preview a member raised a hand wanting to ask a question. Ida thought the question was in line with the lessons. Only to find out that the question was about when Mvule is coming. This indicated how this community is ready for Mvule community development program.

- Notes
- Irene started with a review on the previous topic which was oral care and the community members gave the different things to be used to take care of their teeth like toothpaste, soap, toothbrush, charcoal, fresh ash,a stick, a clean string, boiling tooth brushes, and to avoid sharing toothbrushes.
Irene then introduced anew topic”nutrition or diet,” Irene asked the community their understanding of the word nutrition or diet.some gave,”nutrition is eating beef, chicken, soda and rice, nutrition is eating more than one meal a day. Irene clarified on their answers by saying it’s the process of providing or obtaining the food necessary for health and growth.
Irene then asked the members some of the foods needed by our bodies . The members said they need good foods like matooke, rice, chicken, liver, soda, milk and passion fruits.
Irene then told the community the foods that are needed by our bodies. foods that give us energy, food that makes our skins look good, food that makes us bright, and food that makes us grow. (Grow foods, glow foods and energy giving foods)
Tofa a community member asked that what are those foods that give energy?
Ida bounced back the question to the community, who knows what those foods are? Nangobi said sweet potatoes, posho. Abdul said rice, millet, cassava. Paul said malwa(millet beer)
Irene thanked the community for the great answers and continued asking for foods that make our skins look good.
Kateme said that jackfruit, ovacado, mangoes and water. When the community heard of water, they laughed at Kateme but Irene said that she was right because water is very important when we talk about Nutrition.
Irene then thanked the community members for their active participation and encouraged the community to look around for the different types of food in their community because next time the topic will be on a balanced diet.
