Notes
Abraham met twenty five Bukoma B community members and the chairman Mr Fred told the meeting that because of the drought that lasted for a long time many of the trees they planted dried up and they are requesting if there is any chance for them to get during this rainy season. He said that they met and decided to start a saving scheme and they hope in future to give out soft loans to the members. Abraham thanked the chairman for good work done so far, he encouraged them to continue meeting because there much they can do when they are together. He said that Kibo will see to make sure they replace the dead trees. Concerning their saving scheme Abraham told the group to have a good recording and book keeping because most cases when people do not trust how their money is kept they always not contribute. He advised each to record and the one who receives also to record so that if there is any error it is easy to rectify it. The members agreed to contribute money to buy the books and they decided that each member must pay two thousand shillings for fifty people that will be one hundred thousand shillings and the balance will help them for registering the group at the sub county. It started raining and Abraham left for Jinja.
