- Introduction Lorna, Manuela and Henry were in Bukhudumira P/S where they did the Pretest corrections together with the Pupils. Overview On arrival Manuela, Lorna and Henry first went to the Headmistress’ office to introduce Henry to her before moving to the Life Skills class. Many pupils want to attend the class but unfortunately Manuela and Lorna had to send some pupils out to reach a target of 100 but still this was not possible as they zeroed with 109 pupils. The books they brought them last week were issued out along with the pens although a few missed. Those that missed will receive their books and pens next week. After issuing the books and pens, we started with the pretest corrections. Manuela read the questions out loud to the pupils while asking the pupils to try answering the questions as Lorna wrote the answers on the chalk board and also engaged the pupils. The participation was good as Lorna and Manuela and Henry often encouraged the pupils to participate. From the pretest results, the first topic that will be taught will be Decision making under which we have Early marriage, Early pregnancy, Alcohol/ drug abuse, Steps in making good decisions among others. Conclusion The class was very active which is a good start. Next week Monday we will be teaching Decision making.
