- The borehole located in Ituba C trading center is one that needs repair to be able to relieve pressure on our new borehole in this same village. Alex therefore went to meet with the water user committee for this particular borehole to remind them of their roles and responsibilities. Also the borehole was very bushy and was lacking a proper fence. This borehole when it breaks down, many people resort to the new borehole that was drilled recently by Kibo and thus putting it at a risk of breaking down also easily because of over pumping it. Therefore Kibo thought it wise to fix this second borehole so that the people in this village and Namuwondo don’t crowd on one water source and have enough safe water in the village. However, the water user committee needed to be revived and reminded about their roles and responsibilities. Also Alex told the committee to clean the borehole compound and put back a new borehole fence. Alex will follow up on this to make sure all what is required is met before this well repair is done. Therefore all the people are very happy to Kibo group that now both their wells that they have in the village will be able to serve all the people in the village with ease.
