- The water source that is near them is a swamp and they've been taking this water since.

- In Kigalama B, taking ownership is still a struggle because no organizations are willing to go and teach the community about taking ownership. It's only Kibo that has taken the lead and with time after the weekly lessons, they will have some change in the way they think,do,see and decide.

- Today many men attended and were very active than before. The class was nice as if they were debating. They did the review between men and women ,when one group failed to give the right answer, they burst into laughter!

- Ida went to Kigalama B and continued with the chicken feeds ratio lesson.she taught up to the 4th week,here one is supposed to remove or stop putting the light in the brooder which means the chickens will only eat during day time only. The feeds ratio table. Age in wks. Aprox feed/day. Weght/bird. Type of feeds. Rmks 5-8wks. 50-80gms. 100-400gms. C and D Mash. 12hrs food 8-12 wks. 80-90gms. 500-800 gms. Growers msh. Day time 12-16wks. 90-100gms. 800-1kg. Growers msh. Day time 16-20wks. 100-110gms. 1.5kg. Growers msh. Day time. At this point one is free to start selling some of the chickens if they want. This will help to buy feeds again. Since it's now business , the hope is that by this time the brooder will be having other chics.
