Notes
David and Steven were in Bulyowa Village in the two sections A and B . Their intention of going there was to update the homes which were reflected in the third survey to be having cases of open deification. While in the village David and Steven were joined by the chairman of muvule group mr Mpata who accompanied them in the twelve homes which were reflected as victims of open deification in the village. Out of the twelve home they visited the ten homes had improved. Except the two homes of the old two men which had not yet improved. Therefore David encouraged mpata one of the members on the water and sanitation committee to continue encouraging the the two homes to improve on their sanitation standards. Because it was a rainy season to avoid the transfer of diarrheal diseases. As David and Steven were heading back to the trading centre mr Mpata told David about how greatly the village was progressing . He told them that on top of the muvule program which was already in good progress. They had formed up another village chicken rearing development group of about 70 members. Therefore David analyzed that as a good developmental aspect for the entire village because some members who had missed being member in the muvule program. They got a chance and joined the new kitchen rearing program. On that note David suggested to Mpata that they should go and check on the progress in those homes which had received the kitchens. It was all good because their kitchens were doing well . The owners of the homes said that after the period of four month all their kitchens will be good and ready for commercial values. David continued and encouraged the members who were already doing the kitchen rearing to encourage everyone to join the two groups.Because it would work greatly if everyone in the village had joined the two groups . Other than for only the few members developing and they leave the others lagging behind. They also visited the two boreholes but they were not taken good care of. However David encouraged the committee members to always taking a-lead towards their good borehole maintenance and full borehole ownership. The village has little money on the both boreholes as their borehole account balances . The borehole in A had 70000 shillings and for the one in B had 120000 shillings. However they were reminded of always having borehole meetings aimed At always continuing contributing money towards their borehole accounts to avoid future borehole breakages. In general according to the sanitation status of the entire village was good . Except for the few homes which the committee will be encouraging in order for them to improve.
