- Notes
- Harriet found a few members waiting at the usual meeting place. She asked those ones who had turned up to go and mobilize more people for the meeting.
They told a Harriet that the number may not increase because they are two activities being conducted in their village that some other members have gone for. Matilda one of the committee member said that, there is a school meeting at majoga primary school where some members have gone to attend. Also there was a funeral in the village and some other people had gone for burial.
Harriet asked the rest of the members also to go for those two major activities because they were equally important for instance, parents need to attend and deliberate in the school meeting for the good of the school and to promote their children’s performance.
She also told them that there is also need for them to attend the funeral for one of the community member who had died because this would help them to maintain good community relationships and love for one another.
She also encouraged them to always communicate to Kibo in case there are such cases in the community so that Kibo plans how to go about them. She went with some people at the funeral where she met the chairperson LC1 and invited him for the community and Kibo( Healthy and Safe kitchen program) dis engagement meeting scheduled for 20th March 2019. She asked him to help mobiles the entire members for the Healthy and Safe kitchen program to attend. While at the funeral Harriet participated in collecting firewood, prayed with them and comforted the family of the diseased.
She was also able to contact the Community Development Officer of Buhemba Sub-County on phone and she invited him for Kibo/ community meeting scheduled on 20th March 2019 and she was positive about it.
The community appreciated Kibo love towards them in all situations.
