Notes
Abraham met thirty five Ikumbya community members and they started discussing how they are going to keep the funds that will come from chickens. They chairperson told the meeting that it would be good for the group to have a group account because now they will be selling eggs and to keep the money in the house it is not safe. One member asked about the good bank they can open an account and also said how much is needed in order to open one. The chairperson said that she head about a group that open an account and she promised to go and asked them how much is required and also documents they need in the bank. Abraham thanked the members for joining together to keep the chickens and encouraged them to go a head and as get the group account because it will make all things easy even keeping the money they contribute for they bore hole in case it breaks down. It is always a challenge when money is kept in the house, the house May catch fire, someone may stole it and even you do not feel comfortable. All of the members agreed to go a head and open a group account and now they are waiting for the chairperson to go and inquire from the other group that opened one so that they will also pursue getting one. They is doing well maintaining their bore hole well and they put a new fence around it.
